Losing weight safely is a combination of these important factors — from healthy eating, working out, determination, mindset and patience. There’s no single magic formula to losing weight, baby steps and little changes make a big difference in permanent weight loss. So, I want to know! What did you give up that really kickstarted your progress? Uhm, maybe you’ve finally decided to give up alcohol and that made a huge difference for you. Or maybe you ditched watching too much Netflix because it always cost you time when you were supposed to go to the gym! Or you challenged yourself to cut out dessert or any sweets for a week just to see how it would go. Or you actually stopped obsessing on your weekly weigh-ins because the scale was putting you on edge!
