Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes facing slightly out. Lower your hips until your thighs are parallel to the floor, making sure your knees don’t collapse inward. Hold your hands out in front of you for balance. Squeeze your butt muscles, and rise up, swinging your left leg out to the side. Return to starting position. That’s 1 rep. Do 10 on one side, then 10 on the other side. Repeat 3 times. So easy, right? Want to step it up? Hold a five-pound dumbbell in each hand, and rest the ends of the weights against your shoulders, with elbows down and wrists locked.
