6 Steps To Live Longer & Have More Energy

 

As a busy boss, it can be hard to maintain your energy and focus in these disruptive times.

Here are  a few of simple strategies that I use on a regular basis to increase my energy levels and help my clients live longer.

 

 

1. Get Proper Sleep

This may seem obvious, but you’d be surprised how many people don’t get enough sleep.

Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night, and if you are having trouble sleeping, avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine late at night.

Your body needs time to rest and recover from stress so that you can perform at your peak level during the day. 

 

2. Move Your Body

Exercise is one of the most powerful tools that I recommend to increase your energy levels and improving your overall health.

Aim for 30 minutes of exercise 3-5 days per week–walking, running, lifting weights, yoga–or whatever workout that you enjoy that energizes you.

 

3. Eat Healthy Foods

Fueling your body with healthy foods is essential for generating long-term energy as well as overall health.

Avoid processed foods, sugary snacks, and fast food whenever possible; instead choose lean proteins (such as chicken or fish), fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy fats, nuts and seeds. 

Eating the right foods will help keep your blood sugar balanced throughout the day so you can maintain consistent energy levels. 

 

4. Stay Hydrated

Drinking plenty of water throughout the day is key for your body to run optimally; aim for 8 glasses per day or more if you are active or engaging in strenuous activities.

Staying hydrated will help support digestion as well as cognitive function which both contribute to increased energy levels over time!

 

5. Manage Stress Levels

High stress levels can wreak havoc on your physical and mental health over time; try meditation or deep breathing exercises to manage stress levels in a healthy way on a daily basis. 

Additionally, take breaks throughout the day when needed – go for a walk outside or listen to some calming music for 10 minutes – whatever helps you relax!

 

6. Quality Social Interactions

Research has shown that meaningful social interactions can help reduce stress levels and increase feelings of joy which both contribute to increased energy over time!

Try scheduling lunch dates with friends/family or joining an activity group once per week – anything that gets you out there interacting with others people will help boost your mood & energy levels long-term!

Overall these tips have helped me and my clients stay energized on a daily basis while also supporting our longevity – I hope they do the same for you too!

Make 2023 the Year of Unbreakable Habits

As we move forward in 2023, it’s time to think about how you can be unstoppable.

It doesn’t matter if that means being great at leading your team, crushing your business goals, or taking care of yourself—you need good habits to get there.

And luckily, bad habits can be unlearned and good habits can be formed.

Read on to find out how.

 

The Power of Small Changes

Making big changes is great but they aren’t the only way to make a difference in your life.

In fact, small changes are often more effective than big ones because they’re easier to maintain and build upon over time.

For example, if you want to break a bad habit like drinking soda every day, try reducing your consumption by one glass per week instead of swearing off soda completely.

This will give you an immediate sense of accomplishment and allow you to gradually reduce your intake until you’ve reached your goal without feeling overwhelmed or defeated.

 

Building Momentum

Once you’ve made a few small changes, it’s time to start building momentum so that those changes stick for the long-term.

The best way to do this is by setting yourself up for success with simple reminders and rewards along the way.

For example, if you want to start working out more regularly this year, put a sticky note on your bathroom mirror reminding yourself why exercise is important and congratulating yourself when you complete a workout session.

This will help motivate you while also giving you something positive to focus on throughout the process.

 

Focus on Your Why

Finally, it’s important to remember why these habits are so important in the first place.

Whether it’s eating healthier or getting better sleep at night, think about how these new habits will benefit both you and those around you in the long run.

Having a clear purpose will keep you motivated even when things get tough and help ensure that your hard work pays off in the end.

 

2023 can be an incredible year for personal growth if you have the right tools in place—and that starts with breaking bad habits and building good ones!

With small steps and consistent effort, anything is possible this year—you just have to take action now and stay focused on why these changes are so important in the first place so that nothing can stand in your way as a leader this 2023!

How To Live Your Best Life Now To Be Uninterruptible!

As an entrepreneur, I’ve had to work finding balance to live my best life in order to save me from feeling stressed and overwhelmed.

I wasn’t always holding clear boundaries with my computer and phone and they were jumping in the bed with me at night.

The good news is you can get out of your own way too and focus your mind on what you want, so that you hit your goals & live your best life RIGHT NOW in these UNPREDICTABLE times.

Living a Full Life is a life where you balance the 6 main aspects of life.

Those 6 aspects are:

  1. Your Physical Health
  2. Your Family and Relationship
  3. Your finances
  4. Your business 
  5. Your Spirituality
  6. Your Mental Strength

 

The biggest problem that I see my clients face is the fact that they’re sacrificing what’s important and what matters to them for something they want.

Take health for example.

I see many of you working long hours but…

…by overworking, you’re sacrificing your physical and mental health.

In these uncertain times, peak performance requires fitness in all of these areas of life!

Living your best life is especially important when your plate is full! 

Living your best life means leveling up to be the best version of yourself so that you can be happy and living up to your full potential. 

It means being intentional about the way you choose to live and living your life in a way that lines up with your values and goals.

Getting there requires that you master both the internal and external factors that could prevent you from living your best life.

You have to FIND a way to balance different aspects of your life.

For me, I have finally developed a framework which has helped me put my life together in a way that is more fun, and I’d love to share that framework so that you can live life to the fullest WITHOUT sacrificing because sacrifice sucks!

 

Here are 10 questions I ask myself to live my best life.

I challenge you to do the same and let me know what you would add!

  1. Did I follow a mindful morning routine and focus on the feeling state of what ever I am grateful for and working on achieving in advance?
  2. Did I workout for at least 20 minutes ? 
  3. Did I not drink or drink in moderation? 
  4. Did I eat healthy?
  5. Did I fast? 
  6. Did I get up early?
  7. Did I drink half body weight in water? 
  8. Did I take cold showers?
  9. Did I get 7-9 hours of sleep?
  10. Did I give away my power to things outside of my control?

 

Here’s why that’s important.

On the average, you have 60k thoughts a day and most of these thoughts are negative and repetitive from the day before. 

Your mindset is the biggest key to getting out of your own way to live your best life! When you recondition your mind to think differently you rewire your brain. 

Changing your brain changes your business along with every area of your life.  

All you have to do is DECIDE what you want.

To override my DNA/reptilian brain & knowing I wake up and feel anxious I practice mindfulness and a strict meditation and gratitude practice. What works for you?

6 Steps To Upgrade Your Life In Uncertain Times

With the market fluctuations. Inflation. Soaring prices… 

It’s easy to feel shaken up by the uncertainty all around you and feel a bit out of balance.

But you can choose to respond rather than react…

You can choose to become UNSHAKEABLE, unbreakable and unstoppable and commit right now to making the last half of this year the time to put your personal life and health at the top of your list, not just your business.

Change your LIFE with some of my favorite SIMPLE HABITS.

 

Habit #𝟏 — Cold Showers

⁣⁣⁣This is a great way to train your self-discipline, reduce muscle soreness and help with your skin and weight loss.⁣⁣

I do cryotherapy.

Here’s how to do the cold showers:

Turn the nob to cold and stand in the stream for intervals of 30-60 seconds.⁣⁣⁣

Habit #2 — Intermittent Fasting

⁣⁣⁣This is one of my favorite habits for anti-aging, self-discipline, and permanently releasing weight.

It takes a little while to adjust to this lifestyle, but it’s so worth it!

You already have discipline as a successful person you just need to apply it.⁣

Ask any anti-aging or bio hacking expert like Dave Asprey or David Sinclair. They love fasting as well, I love it for the great results I get for me and my clients.

Fasting and cold showers are two hard things that can make you more grateful for all the things you have access to in the comfortable world we are privileged to live in!

Gratitude makes you happier. The secret to happiness is to have less wants and more gratitude for what you have.

⁣⁣⁣Here’s exactly how to do Intermittent fasting:

Stop eating at 6 or 8 at night, and break your fast at 10 or 12 in the morning (16-hour fast).⁣⁣⁣

 

⁣⁣⁣Habit #3 — Visualization

⁣⁣⁣This strategy actually tricks your brain to thinking you have what you want already, and influences you to make decisions that will lead to accomplishing that big goal or vision you’re holding in your mind?⁣

⁣I hope that 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦?⁣

⁣⁣⁣If not, that’s OK. The thing is….⁣

⁣It doesn’t have to make sense, just close your eyes, see/smell/feel what you want to have as you already have it.⁣

And let the universe or whatever higher power you believe in, and your actions do the rest. ;)⁣

All successful athletes and visionary leaders use this strategy of visualization

Here are some visualization prompts to get you started:

90 days from now what is it you’d like to achieve?

How does it feel?

How proud are you?

Are you more confident now that you’ve achieved this?

 

⁣⁣⁣Habit #4 — Meditate

⁣⁣⁣If you want to be more joyful in these turbulent times, you can train yourself to be happier by taking positive actions, and a great start would be to start meditating.⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣Start with 3 minutes. Close your eyes, sit down relaxed, and focus on your breath (6 sec in, 6 sec out)⁣⁣. ⁣

I include visualization in my meditation.

⁣⁣⁣The science proves meditation and gratitude positively impacts your physical and mental health. Meditation and focusing daily on what you’re grateful for in advance is a good happiness hack!

 

⁣⁣⁣Habit #5 — Evening Routine

Sleep is so important. I know this because I’ve neglected sleeping before and the struggle is real..⁣

Implementing an evening routine changed sleep for me and my clients. Just do a few things before sleeping that make you relax, like meditation with the lights off.⁣

Your lifestyle will improve when you improve your quality of sleep!

Here are a pre-sleep routine tips:

  • No electronics 1 hr before bed.
  • No food 3 hours before bed.
  • Reduce noise and light exposure.
  • Set bedroom temperature low.
  • During the day, spend time outdoors for light exposure.
  • Also plan your top goals for tomorrow the night before.
  • Lay out the things that you’ll need to hit those goals by making them obvious!

For example lay out your workout clothes if your goals include exercise in your morning routine.

 

⁣⁣⁣Habit #6 — Morning Routine

This Is the big A-lister habit.

⁣Without my morning routine, I would still be falling prey to my ADD and be unfocused wasting my time…⁣

⁣’𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺’⁣

⁣Find 2 to 6 habits to implement in your morning routine that set you up for a successful day, whatever that means to you!

Here’s a PRO TIP:

Do something hard in your morning routine so that the rest of the day comes easy because you’ve already done a hard task. (The eat that frog principle, book by Brian Tracy)⁣

 

And, always choose things & habits that align with your values and goals. So think about, future planning in your morning and evening routine, meditation and visualization, reading, breath-work, and a cold shower to finish it off!

These strategies have helped my clients and they can help you too like Henry, a successful CEO. He was an athlete in his 20s, and had the discipline – and the muscles –

5 Power Habits of a Great Leader for High-Performance in Disruptive Times

Since the pandemic started, I know many of you have felt burned out and exhausted physically and emotionally at times. I know I have, which can decrease productivity. Don’t worry. Help is on the way!

It’s been a long stretch of disruptions, hasn’t it? For me, it certainly has. If you’ve cruised through the last two crazy years of the most challenging time in our history, and you’re “crushing it” in your fitness, your business, and your life, good for you!

I wish that was true for everyone.

If you’re like most of us, it’s been a time of unexpected change and reflection because everything is different from what we were expecting.

If your goals for 2022 started out with wanting to live a healthier lifestyle, have more energy, or make more money, there is good news: a breakthrough is still possible for you. You still have time!

To be an effective leader, you must lead yourself first.

Disruption is never easy, especially in all areas of our lives.

Mastering the skill of self-leadership starts with mastering your mind. Self-leadership is about constantly developing your inner game, which is your mindset, and your  outer game, which is action. Achieving mastery in all aspects of your inner game is your intention, self-awareness, confidence, and belief in yourself, and your outer game consists of influence and impact. A bulletproof mindset helps you lead with agility, creativity, and empathy.

#2 – To control your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, you must have Emotional Intelligence.

Emotional maturity skills help you respond to challenges in positive and efficient ways rather than reacting to them. A response is a deliberate, thought-out plan to address a challenge, while a reaction is a spontaneous outburst. Oh come on. I know we’ve all been there. Perfection isn’t possible. A reaction is driven by emotion, and a response is driven by logic or reasoning.

#3Self-Leadership

Top high performers have self-leadership. Be the CEO of your life with self-leadership. This is the practice of intentionally influencing your thoughts, feelings, and actions towards your goals.

This gives you the ability to lead yourself to achieve your personal and big professional goals. It involves having a good perspective on who you are, where you want to go, and what you can accomplish.

Influence is another essential characteristic of high performers. As an effective leader, you have more influence over others because your beliefs and actions align with your values. You inspire the people that you influence to work harder to achieve the success that you’ve accomplished.

High-performance leadership is all about personal growth and becoming a better leader. It’s about being honest with yourself, not self-criticism. It’s about recognizing what you’re doing that is and isn’t working and how you can make positive changes.

Self-growth is about striving to continuously improve yourself. It requires being open to feedback and creating a plan to keep you accountable and on track. Committing to self-growth can have a positive impact on your career and help you lead by example for those around you.
